So, before everything get included into your collection, it's time to sort out stuff, test it... and brag about it, yeah? Just received the homebrew Pacman cart for the Channel F, courtesy of e5frog : This is so excellent! I can't tell you how long it took me to get the console working... First TV I try : multistandard... but UHF band only. Dammit! I try to use a VCR but as it is a SECAM VCR, it only had the picture in b&w, it wasn't a simple passthrough. Second try on a multistandard TV, more modern with electronic tuner and all... but either the tuner wasn't multistandard or I didn't found how to change from SECAM L to PAL B. Gosh! Ironically my best luck was with that modern 2004 made Samsung set. The game is excellent, following the classic Pacman rules. And it have almost no flickering and Pacman mout move in all directions, unlike the Atari 2600's Pacman

Not video games, but hey they're pickups for a thing I collect for at least. Bit of story for the albums - I had attended a thing in the state - Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week - and the CA for our company that we had to simulate, Eric, was huge into Nine Inch Nails and Neutral Milk Hotel as they were two of his favorite bands in the 90s. I was browsing the store and found the NiN album and grabbed it because I just love NiN, but when I saw the Neutral Milk Hotel album laying there in the bin of unsorted new stuff it reminded me of the guy. So that was neat to me at least.

burritobeans , I've never heard of Neutral Milk Hotel ... I'm going to have to look them up, I've been looking for some new music as of late. As for me, my recent pickups consist of the following. I haven't really got much of anything NEW but I got a few games so I can get rid of my loose games. Centipede - ColecoVision - C/I/B (sealed) Next, I was browsing through my collection and I noticed a few of my games had the "Not For Resale, Part of a Set" that I for some reason never noticed before. If you know me, you'd know that this sort of thing annoys me ... So ... I found out which set they were all a part of and order the complete set of each. and they are ... Mortal Kombat Kollection - PS2 --- C/I/B Medal of Honor Collection - PS2 --- C/I/B Pac-Man Power Pack - PS2 --- C/I/B The only NEW games I got were for the Dreamcast. Centipede --- C/I/B Crazy Taxi [Sega All Stars] --- C/I/B That's all I really got Gaming related, and I've been doing my best to add them to the Archive ASAP. My recent Non-Gaming pickups greatly outnumber those I got for gaming. As you may or may not know, our new physical location will be a green place where all the food for it will be grown right here on location. So today, I picked up a butt-load of starts and have a large area of growing fruits and veggies at the moment... also, I HOPE to pick up a camera soon so i can show you the progress we have been making. That's really all of the latest stuffs here ... Hope to keep you updated when more happens :3

Hey, sorry for the long hiatus ... been really busy working on a project that is under wraps for now ... But for my latest stuff ... I got one thing I can show you that will be a hint for what is to come soon. well, recently, I was browsing Facebook and a saw a post saying a little console known as the VTech Socrates is shooting up in price ... I already owned the console so I decided to go shopping to try and complete the library ... Facts 'n Fractions (Canadian Version) ... I honestly wasn't expecting this to be the Canadian version, but it was, I'm not disappointed at all. So I STILL need to find the US version of this game and the Box for the CAD Professor and Mouse ... so I need 7 more US games for the completed library ... i can do it!! more to come soon

Oh, I know it was familiar without being familiar In France it was sold as the Yeno Professeur Saitout (Professor All-knowing ). I don't think it's rare, but being an educative toy, it's not at all collected here, except by some fans of 80's tech, and mostly for being a toy, not an old console.

Nice! I have a Sharp Twin Famicom for import, that's much easier for me for connecting to the TV. I got this beast recently : This is an Elektronika BK, a Soviet-made computer, made between 1986 and? 1992/1993?. It's a 16 bits computer, based on the DEC PDP-11 mainframe from 1970. The computer contain the "Vilnius-BASIC"; and the cartridge contain the PDP-11 BASIC-like language FOCAL and a diagnostic software. Unfortunately despite the powerful CPU (equivalent in raw power to a 80286) the BK 0010-010 come with 32 Ko of RAM, and a pitiful CGA-like video display - as suchmost games looks like ZX Spectrum games, which might also be due to the fact that many people in USSR also programmed ZX Spectrum games. Later models would ship with 128 Ko of RAM, allowing for CGA like graphisms.
